What is Beautyfix?

Subscribers will receive up to $100 worth of products and with Dermstore behind them they have wider brand selections!!! Beautyfix was repackaged in March and I have been watching like a hawk to see if it is worth the time and money!

Let’s take a look at the new design and products included this month! If you missed my last review click here to take a peek at what you may have missed!
A more detailed description card is included allowing a brief synapses of the products included and a 15% of coupon code (Julyfix15)!   Deva Curl 3-Step Introduction Kit: No-Poo, One Condition, and Light Defining Gel (1 oz ea) Total Value $9

I recently accepted and adopted my curls after chopping my hair off (went from below my shoulders to almost pixie). I use to relax my hair and use so many chemicals, I decided to take my hair back and take a more natural approach. Well, as natural as I could get without strong chemicals. I rarely leave my hair curly, unless air drying but as it grows longer found that I have developed a new fondness for my curls! I let my nephew try this and he was not too convinced that this stuff works, but did like the soft hold. Would I buy it, no… however, it’s always to get these samples to try before impulse kicks in to buy the Full Size for the test drive!
SkinMedica Replenish Hydrating Cream (0.25 oz) $8, SkinCeutical Metacell Renewal B3 (Sample), SkinCeutical Reservatrol B E (Sample)

I love the brands and how well they truly help age skin… the reviews alone are almost astonishing, but why do we get stuck with these tiny samples?

I am completely familiar with all of these great brand names, thanks to my subscription boxes; however, these products are completely new to me….SCORE! The Vichy cleaning solution is pretty good and works to remove makeup without harsh astringents. The Bliss Mask was a bit ackward feeling but worked efficiently as a cleanser rather than a mask. I was able to try Erno Laszlo’s face bars from my prior Allure Beauty Subscription and found that this luxury soap does provide the user with a luxurious experience with just the scent alone! The soap did well not to dry out my skin and my face did feel tighter after use!
Dermstore Lip Quench (FULL SIZE!) $12 & Glo Minerals Lash Boosting Mascara ( FULL SIZE) $19.50

By the time I got to the full size items I was a bit disappointed, so I had to take a break before that showed up in my review….lol. The LipQuench is a repeat item that I believe I received in my first box with them, but the Mascara was a nice surprise!

Harry Josh Professional Styling Clips $10

I received these clips as a sign-up bonus/free gift in a prior box and love love love these! Normally, I would be upset to get small samples and repeat items, but these really saved the box for me. I already have two other set’s I got free with my past subscription so now I have 6 of these bad boys which are normally around $15 for 3!!!! Woohoo!

The total of the Beautyfix box for May was only around $70 (a record low), but and I paid roughly $25 under their monthly subscription rate which is outstanding! Just the Harry Josh Clips and mascara covered that amount and for me that was enough to make me happy!
