What is Allure Beauty Box?

Subscribers will receive 4 to 5 deluxe-sized samples based on editor suggestions. Included will be an exclusive Allure mini-mag filled with tips and beauty news.

If you love to try new products, or have something you have been dying to get your hands on to see if it is worth buying into the full-size, this box has a pretty good assortment. For me, the experience of being able to try before I buy is one of the best perks, not to mention the occasional surprise Full Sized find!

Let’s check out what came in November’s Box:
When you receive your Allure Beauty Box you will find an Allure mini-mag, which not only is filled with each items description but their uses! I believe this to be one of the most useful tools included in any subscription service. Why? Sometimes samples do not have packaging or the packaging lacks instructions. This often diminishes the allure of the product since you may not know how to use it unless you search the web for answers! The Allure beauty mag is one of the best offered, since it includes reader & curator opinions in addition to each product being tested by the curators.  Crabtree & Evelyn Verbena and Lavender Bath and Shower Gel (50 ml) $6

Klorane Floral Eye Make Up Remover (25 ml) $2

Kevin Murphy Anti-Gravity Oil Free Volumiser (40 ml) $7.60

Crabtree & Evelyn is featured in several luxury hotels, but for this brand I have found many of their body products in my previous subscriptions and love the unisex scents. I loved the blend of my two fave scents lavender and lemon! The Klorane make-up remover was ok, but I don’t see this as one I will actually use. I will probably gift this sample. The Kevin Murphy Oil Free Volumiser was nice to try, but not one I’d probably end up buying. It is a hybrid cream/gel volumizer that seems to work but since I have been wearing my hair curly more often, I won’t end up trying it again until I wear my hair straight!
Mally Beauty High Shine Liquid Lipstick in Supernatural (0.09 oz) $15

L’Occitane Divine Youth Oil (4 ml) $14

Hanae Mori Hanae Perfume Sample (1.2 ml) $1.75

I am a Mally enthusiast, so when I saw the spoiler come out for a Mally gloss in every box I hoped I would get a natural looking shade… and I did! This nude color is the perfect mix of shimmer and tint! L’Occitane is my go to for my lazy days but this is one product I have never tried before. At $100 an ounce I will keep accepting these samples! The Perfume sample was fruity and wearable, but is only enough for one to two days.

(Continued) Mally Beauty High Shine Liquid Lipstick in Supernatural

This shade is perfect for my semi-professional work look and the high shine formula is not terribly tacky; and for a gloss, it does stay on for a while.

The best thing to find in a subscription box, is finding that the subscription service included a sample of something you wanted to try (try b4 you buy). If you love to try new products, or have something you have been dying to get your hands on to see if it is worth buying into the full-size then this box has a pretty good assortment. For me, the experience of being able to try before I buy is one of the best perks, not to mention the occasional surprise Full Sized find!
